How Is it Made?
Each Glass LEGOdt is handmade using the 850′ casting technique, in coloured Murano glass and special Murano crystal. Once the disposable mould has been prepared, both negative and positive, the glass is cast, set and fired. After about three days of firing, the Glass LEGOdt is allowed to cool and brought to room temperature before being taken out of the furnace and mould. It is then worked by the master grinder and engraver who gives it a precise shape, engraves its base and characterises its expression and details. Each sculpture, although the same, will therefore be unique and different from the others in some detail.
A work of art in certified Vetro Artistico® Murano, testimony to Venetian craftsmanship and the versatility of contemporary Murano art glass.
