“karoo” sculpture representing an African mask made with the glass fusion technique with black glass and murrine canes. The work was put in a melting oven twice. The first casting was done at 800 degrees to melt all the murrine, then the object was entirely engraved by hand with diamond wheels. The second casting was at 650 degrees to give a more rounded shape to the object. That’s a unique and inimitable piece.
